Get to know Mérida, the "White City" in southeastern Mexico

Yucatan is a land of archaeological, natural, colonial and gastronomic wonders. Among the most important sites of the Mayan culture is Chichen Itza, named one of the Seven New Wonders of the World since July 2007, and is located 110 km from the city.
Cenotes are freshwater wells created by the erosion of the stone. For the Maya, they were the source of the vital liquid, the gateway to the other world and the center of communion with their gods.

Located 90 km west of Mérida is the biosphere reserve known as Río Celestún, whose main attraction is the beautiful Pink Flamingo Sanctuary. Embark on a small boat and witness how the sky is painted pink with thousands of flamingos flying over the place. The best season to visit this place is between the months of December and March, in which you can see up to 30,000 copies of this beautiful species.
